South Street Dental
After 18 years of running a busy and successful dental practice in Sydney, Mario and Susanne Reznik moved with their young family to the beautiful beach suburb of Umina Beach in the Central Coast of New South Wales, and established South Street Dental there in January 2009.
Shortly after they were joined by Eddie Reznikas in the Dentures department, and Tia Schaaf in the Hygiene department, giving them an opportunity to provide a complete range of services to the community of the Central Coast.
The principal aim and philosophy of the practice is to provide to our patients excellent preventive services to help them conserve their teeth for life, and where necessary, provide services to restore or replace teeth with the most up to date techniques, in a non threatening environment, and to always endeavour to RUN ON TIME.
Mario Reznik – BDS (Honours) Sydney, Graduate Diploma Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants)
Mario has spent a great deal of his postgraduate training in the areas of reconstructive, cosmetic and implant dentistry, and pain control. He gratuated from Sydney Univesity in 1992 with First Class Honours and with the 4th year Medal for Prosthetic Dentistry. In 2001 he became a Diplomate in the field of Oral Implants. The training that he obtained is unique in that he has gained experience in both the surgical placement of implants, as well as the reconstruction process to place teeth and prosthetic devices on implants. He has coached an Under 7’s soccer team, as well as girls 12′s, 14′s and 16′s soccer teams, so he is quite used to stressful environments.
Eddie Reznikas – RDT (Randwick), Registered Dental Prosthetist (Sydney)
Eddie has over 30 years experience in the provision of dentures, and he dedicated himself to improving the comfort and appearance of his patient’s smiles. He is a tireless learner of new techniques, and understands fully the needs of denture weares.
Tia Schaaf – Dental Hygienist, BOH (Newcastle)
Tia has been at the practise since 2009, initially as a Dental Assistant, whilst studying for her qualifications as a Dental Hygienist, which she obtained at the end of 2011. Since then she has been applying her knowledge and skills to help our patients prevent dental disease and help restore and maintain healthy gums and teeth. She has a strong belief in the prevention of dental disease such as decay and gum disease and hopes to make dentistry a more user friendly experience for all.
Susanne Reznik – Practice Manager
Susanne is the most likely person to solve any concerns or queries, from dental ones, to where the best bargains are on the Peninsula. Her other concerns are that we all run on time and that we don’t make promises she can’t keep.
